BUST THE RUST SERIES | Jan 25, Feb 22 & Mar 21 2020

We know it's a long offseason, so we've come up with a series of fun OCR related challenges. Each event will have 5 different challenges for points. There will be three event days and your points will add up with a winner being crowned at the last event. So, do you have what it takes?

Bust the Rust 2019 OCR Stations

Station 1 - Rope Clim & Bucket Carry
Athletes will start in their designated starting box. At the whistle, the athlete will run to a rope and ascend it. The athlete is at the top once their hand touches the top I-beam. The athlete may now descend the rope and move to a bucket and carry it 20 yards down and 20 yards back. This completes one round and to successfully complete this station, the athlete must complete two rounds. The timer stops once you enter the start box.

Station 2 - Here Hoist, GripSling Farmer’s Carry
Athletes will start in their designated starting box. At the whistle, athletes will move toward a HH. The athlete must hoist up the kettlebell until the knot touches the top bar. The kettlebell must then be lowered to the ground. Next the athlete needs to pick up the FC, one GripSling in each hand, and carry 20 yards down and back. This completes one round. To successfully complete this station, the athlete must complete two rounds. The timer stops once you enter the start box.

Station 3 - Rig, Slam Ball Slams & Sled Drag
Athletes will start in their designated starting box. At the whistle, the athlete will run over to the start box of the rig and make their way through it. The athlete can use the chains or any other part of the attachment to maneuver through. Once completed the athlete can run back to the start and grab a slam ball and slam it 5 times. Next the athlete can grab the GripSling strap attached to the sled and drag it 20 yards down and 20 yards back. After the sled crosses the start, the athlete must sprint down 20 yards and back 20 yards. The station is complete and the timer stops once you enter the start box.

Station 4 - Air Assault Bike, Slam Ball Carry & Burpees
Athletes will start on the assault bike. At the whistle, they may begin peddling for 25 calories. Next the athlete will pick up the slam ball and carry it 20 yards. At 20 yards, they can sit the ball down and do 5 burpees. Lastly they will pick the ball up and bring it back 20 yards, This completes 1 round. To successfully complete this station, the athlete must complete two rounds. The timer stops once you enter the start box.

Station 5 - Burpee Box Jump & Tire Flip
Athletes will start in their designated starting box. At the whistle, the athlete will run over to the box and begin doing burpee box jumps. After 5, the athlete will move over to the tire and flip it over and back. Lastly, the athlete will run 20 yards down and 20 yards back. This completes one round. To successfully complete this station, the athlete must complete two rounds. The timer stops once you enter the start box.
